The Hairy Chinese Kid in question was probably not as the title suggests, a Chinese kid.  Regardless of ethnicity however, the child was indeed quite hairy and apparently had trouble hearing due to a build up of hair in his ears. The Hairy Chinese Kid was brought up now and again on Xfm shows following, and was in fact used in the first [[Songs Of Phrase]].
