U2 are a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. U2 have been one of the most popular acts in the world since the mid-1980s.

U2 has gained notoriety in Pilkipedia circles due to the fact that nearly every time Ricky mentions them he explains his epiphany on how he came to like the band despite hating them in the past.

Times Mentioned on the Show

10 November 2001:
See I like U2 again now, I liked them in the very early days, then I hated them for about 15 years, and then the last album, this, and Beautiful Day, I think "really good" - they've lost all their pomposity - don't you think?

01 December 2001:
Ricky: U2, Walk On, got to give it to them, I hated U2 for about 15 years.
Steve: You've said that before, Rick, you've said it before.

22 December 2001:
I'm gonna play a song now. I've dissed U2 for about 15 years. But I got them wrong, so I'm gonna play a lovely track off the latest album.

05 October 2002:
They've done it again. It's beautiful that track. I just didn't like them for 10 years. And All You Can't Leave Behind came out and I sort of thought, I could've been wrong.

14 December 2002:
Electrical Storm. U2. I think that's my favourite of the year. That's great. And I do still feel slightly guilty for dissing them throughout the 90s.
