Hip-Hop Hooray

Hip-Hop Hooray was a feature on The Ricky Gervais Show on Xfm in which Stephen Merchant, and sometimes Ricky Gervais, would play a hip-hop track. Karl Pilkington let Merchant play it towards the end of the show to let him feel good about having his own feature. Hip-Hop Hooray is thought to be have come from a pre-takeover series feature called the Hip-Hop Challenge, in which Gervais and Merchant would compete to play the best hip-hop track.
