Did you know Ricky likes U2 now?

U2 are a rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. U2 have been one of the most popular acts in the world since the mid-1980s.

U2 has gained notoriety in Pilkipedia circles due to the fact that nearly every time Ricky mentions them he explains his epiphany on how he came to like the band despite hating them in the past.

See I like U2 again now, I liked them in the very early days, then I hated them for about 15 years, and then the last album, this, and Beautiful Day, I think "really good" - they've lost all their pomposity - don't you think?

Electrical Storm. U2. I think that's my favourite of the year. That's great. And I do still feel slightly guilty for dissing them throughout the 90s.

Ricky: U2, City of Blinding Light, I'll tell you what, I love U2 now.
Steve: Yeah?
Ricky: I honestly hated them, sort of everything from Boy up to about, I think.....Beautiful Day, when that came out, I thought 'oh that's alright', listened to the album, listened to this album, I love 'em now Steve. That's a turnaround innit.
