The Generation Game was a British game show produced by the BBC in which four teams of two (people from the same family, but different generations) compete to win prizes. On the 25 June 2005 Xfm episode, Karl compared seeing his faeces "whizz by" in a clear tube during a colonic irrigation to the conveyor belt portion of The Generation Game. Jim Davidson, a UK comic famous for his sexist and offensive stand up comedy performances, hosted the show for many years but had to greatly alter his routine for the purpose of the show. Ricky Gervais mocked Davidson in his FAME show, during his now infamous 'Suki' routine in which he worries he may cause offense and be taken less seriously as a comic remarking "Delicate stuff this, one false move and I'm Jim Davidson... relax, I know what I'm doin'"
