The White Stripes hail from Detroit, USA. They consist of Jack White, a Zorro-like axe wielder, modern day guitar genius, and his sister/ex-wife Meg White, who makes the art of drumming look sexual. The duo have released 6 albums, mainly of raw garage punk, but recently have expanded into other genres, with marimbas. The group are most famous for the song Seven Nation Army, and their strict colour guideline of only ever dressing in and decorating the stage in black, red and white.
