I don't think you can build a town entirely out of restaurants. ~ Steve Merchant
Ricky, Steve and Karl have all agreed that Chinatown is not a town. Each of the three has had an unusual experience in what they describe as a "novelty street", in which they have pondered the relevance of Chinatown. Ricky and Steve believe it's not a town as it doesn't have a mayor or a church; Karl didn't understand why the restaurants in Chinatown had such unappealing foods in the window as you usually put out your finest stuff to attract customers.
