[[Andy Millman|Andy]] and [[Maggie Jacobs|Maggie]] are working as extras on a film starring [[Samuel L Jackson]]. Andy gets approached by another extra who is desperate to be his mate. An assistant director comes up to them and offers the other extra a line with Sam Jackson. He’s not able to do it because he’s already been seen but he suggests that Andy should do it and the AD gives Andy the part. To repay the favor, the man wants Andy to take him out to dinner, but Andy refuses. He then decides that he must avoid him forever. Yet the man finds him after work and he ends up agreeing to go to dinner with him. Meanwhile, Maggie tries to get close to Dan, a black actor that she fancies on the film. Yet she is concerned about coming across as racist. They go out on a date but it doesn’t go well because she’s so worried about offending him. The next day on the set she tries to prove to him that she’s not worried about it, but she ends up embarrassing herself in front of Samuel L Jackson while Andy loses his part after he tries to come to her rescue.

The fifth episode of the first series of Extras.

Plot

Andy and Maggie are working as extras on a film starring Samuel L Jackson. Andy gets approached by another extra who is desperate to be his mate. An assistant director comes up to them and offers the other extra a line with Sam Jackson. He’s not able to do it because he’s already been seen but he suggests that Andy should do it and the AD gives Andy the part.
