Dermot O'Leary (born Seán Dermot Fintan O'Leary, Jr. on 24 May 1973) is a British television presenter and radio DJ. He is best known for presenting Little Brothers Big Brother and The X factor. O'leary worked as a DJ on London radio station Xfm from 2001 to 2003 and in 2004 he got his own radio show on BBC Radio 2. He can be heard chatting to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant at the beginning of the 22 December 2001 Xfm show. In an Early Xfm show Ricky once referred to him as "Dermot O'Diddly".
