Bruiser was a short-lived sketch comedy that featured an all-star cast. The show ran six episodes, which premiered on February 28 2000 and ended on March 15 2000.
The cast of future comedy stars included Peep Show cast members Olivia Colman, David Mitchell and Robert Webb. Two who would later star in The Office were also involved: Martin Freeman was on-screen, while Ricky Gervais was one of the show's nine writers. Matthew Holness, who made a guest appearance in The Office and would later win a Perrier Comedy Award as Garth Marenghi, and Charlotte Hudson, who went on to present Brainiac: History Abuse, rounded out the cast.
