does anyone else feel ridiculous with this project?  in the best possible way!  it's all so bizarre and hysterical to listen to in the first place, but to actually type if out makes it seem that much more insane.  i can only imagine the names ricky and steve would call us. lol  i did mine in the quiet study area of my local library tonite and i had to cover my face, shaking with laughter, while I did it.  XD  [[User:Steve is King|Steve is King]] 19:32, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

:Yeah. I have to say I get frustrated when working on it, having to loop bits over. But when I'm done I really feel like I've digested the bit. You pick up on little idiosyncrasies that you don't notice before and realize how redundant their speech patterns are. Really see it on a whole new level. Plus I love typing out a classic link or a Monkey News and seeing it word for word. Strange project indeed. If we ever do get all the shows done (with more help hopefully, egad), e-mail Ricky and tell him we've got The World of Karl Pilkington 2: Encyclopedia Size Edition waiting.--[[User:Knockinabout|Knockinabout]] 19:51, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

Yeah. If we ever do get all the shows done (with more help hopefully, egad), e-mail Ricky and tell him we've got The World of Karl Pilkington 2: Encyclopedia Size Edition waiting.--Knockinabout 19:51, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

Preformatting Recommendations

  • Use RG:, SM:, KP: for dialouge.
  • Use "and" for combination dialogue (RG and SM:).
  • If prominent laughing occurs, put it on a new line that says "name laughs" --(Ricky laughs). Avoid using "(laughs)" in the middle of dialogue.
  • For music breaks just make a new line, and put "song" or "song break". If the band/song is mentioned put some of that down. As long as we work with summarized episodes, all the songs are there so we don't need to figure that bit out and I'll format it to SqueekScript later.
  • Try to put periods at the end of dialogue (unless its ? or ! obviously)

With these things it makes it easier for me to format into SqueekScript so we can have sweet colorized bars and all that jazz.
