Though it never had an official title, Karl in a Film was a movie-based quiz that ran in Xfm Series 2 and 3. It was alternately referred to as "Holly-wouldn't," "The Twix Sense" and "Karl's Film Quiz." For this feature, Karl used his audio engineering skills to place himself in a scene from a popular film. He would then ask a question about something that was said in the clip. The feature was quite unique in that Ricky genuinely enjoyed it.
