Rik Waller came to fame on Pop Idol, an audition show for singers. He didn't win the series, but gained enough popularity to release a relatively successful single. He is currently the singer in a soul-style band called 'Rik Waller's Unfinished Business'.
Mentions on the Show
On several occasions, Rik and his infamous weight was the topic one of Stephen Merchant's rants on the Xfm radio shows. Stephen would refer to him as 'Fats' Waller. Ricky has stated that there's no excuse for being fat, and mocked Rik's attempts at regaining his fitness on Celebrity Fit Club.
