Out Of England

Out Of England is the fourth solo stand-up show by Ricky Gervais released as an HBO special on 15 November 2008. It was filmed at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Tour

Out of England ran for 7 shows in Los Angeles and New York in July 2008. Gervais started with two warm-up gigs for charity in Brentwood, California from 9-10 July 2008. He then performed two gigs in The Kodak Theater in Hollywood, the same venue that annually hosts the Academy Awards, from 11-12 July 2008. He finished his tour in Madison Square Garden in New York where he performed from 14-16 July 2008. The show began with the same introduction as Fame, with Queen’s “One Vision,” the crown and cape, and the large letters in lights that spell, “RICKY.”
