| Krasinski is from Newton, Massachusetts, where he played on the same Little League Baseball team and attended the same high school as [[B.J. Novak]]. Krasinski attended Brown University, where he graduated in 2002 as a playwright with honors.

| Krasinski's TV career began in 2002 as an intern on ''Late Night with Conan O'Brien''. His first stage experience was starring in a satirical high school play written and cast by B.J. Novak.

| Krasinski has appeared in a variety of films including ''Kinsey'', ''Duane Hopwood'', and most recently ''License to Wed''. He also wrote and directed a film adaptation of David Foster Wallace's ''Brief Interviews with Hideous Men'' which was filmed in winter 2006. Krasinski has also done voice-over work for Ask.com and Apple, and voicing the role of Sir Lancelot in ''Shrek the Third''.
