Fame
Fame is a stand-up show written and performed by Ricky Gervais.
Fam' has run for over 100 shows across the UK mainland, including a long stint in London and a show at New York's Madison Square Garden. The show focusss on Gervais' attempts to deal with fame following his widespread success with The Office and Extras on both sides of the Atlantic, and was reported to be the fastest selling stand-up tour in British history. Gervais also erected a large poster commemorating this success in Trafalgar Square. Fame features support on it's UK leg from Gervais' friend, fellow comic Robin Ince.
