The preview podcast for The Ricky Gervais Guide To... The English has been released on YouTube, it can be listened to here and discussed on the forum here. The Audiobook is due for release on the 21st April in time for St George's Day on the 23rd.

Ricky will once again be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, according to his latest blog entry. He will be appearing on 25 August at 7:30 and he will be performing his new Science show. Tickets are now on sale and you can discuss this latest announcement here on the forum.

The Star of David Brent

The world will soon see its eighth incarnation of the David Brent character, with the announcement of an Israeli version of The Office. This follows the British, French, German, American, Canadian, Chilean and soon to come Russian versions of the show and expands the franchising to the Middle East for the first time. Casting is yet to be finalised, but rumours suggest the lead will be played by a little fat bloke with a beard.
