Karl Pilkington (born September 23, 1972 in Manchester, UK) is an English radio producer previously best known for producing Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant on the radio station Xfm. After leaving Xfm, Pilkington reached an international audience through his appearances with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant on The Ricky Gervais Show podcast.
In August 2006, Karl made four programmes for the Channel 4 short documentary series 3 Minute Wonder. In September 2006, Pilkington released a book, The World Of Karl Pilkington. This contained transcripts from the first twelve podcasts, as well as other thoughts and illustrations by Pilkington.
