Paul Lieberstein

Paul Lieberstein plays Toby Flenderson, the H.R. manager in The Office.

Career

Lieberstein's first job in show business was as a writer on the Nickelodeon series Clarissa Explains It All, a job he won based on the strength of a spec script for The Simpsons that he co-wrote. Following that, he was a writer Weird Science, The Naked Truth, King of the Hill, The Drew Carey Show, and The Bernie Mac Show.

His Role in The Office

In addition to starring in it, Lieberstein is a writer and co-executive producer on the show, writing several episodes including "Health Care", "The Client", "The Carpet", "Dwight's Speech", "The Coup", "Cocktails", and "The Job".
