Jimmy the Hat (pronounced rather less comprehensibly by Karl as "Jimmy the 'a'") was another nicknamed man on the estate Karl grew up on. He got the nickname because he never wore a hat. Ricky and Steve found the fact that people could have picked up on Jimmy's habitual hatlessness ridiculous, speculating that he might as well have been nicknamed "Jimmy the Parrot" or "Jimmy Three-Legs".
