Talk:2 September 2007
squeek, are you still playing with the format for this? doesn't seem like the full date needs to be here twice. can you nix the italicized date, and maybe also switch "the steve show" location with the full date location? (although i wouldn't go to my grave over that).
i'd like some input on how necessary it is to have 3 separate locations for steve show info and downloads. do we really need all 3?

well, if so ... let us know when/if you're all set with your template and we can work on getting them all updated, unless you want to do them on your own. Steve is King 21:53, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
Okay then
So, I think I have come up with absolute gold here. All the Steve Show episodes can now be centralized to one page, containing the raw data of the show. Then, there are three other template pages that style the data according to what page it is on. So, now each episode's data will only be found on the corresponding Template:Show Date page. For example, the first show
- Data (for editing): Template:14 January 2007
- Episode page: 14 January 2007
- Download page: Download:The Steve Show#14 January 2007
- Main page: The Steve Show#Episodes Series 1
Obviously, all the episodes aren't fully implemented. But once they are, this will be the easiest thing to edit in all of Pilkipedia. Need to change one piece of info? Only need to do it once and it updates all the pages. Need to change the style? Same thing.
Tell me what you think.

Squeek's work!
fab. totally amazing. my eyes cross trying to figure out what the HELL you've done here and how. nice work!!
my only "issue" is that i don't think we need to have the date twice on the episode pages. i think the top section (full date with line underneath) should be deleted. but i'm happy to be outvoted or bow to the sagacity of sir squeek. Steve is King 21:32, 9 September 2007 (EDT)
