I would contend that it should Hippopotenuse, as wasn't it supposed to be a hybrid of hippopotamus and hypotenuse? As in the midget flew off at a hypotenuse to land in the hippo.?

Thoughts?

Joe.

Erm...well the story is titled by Karl as Hippopotanews...and then during it he makes the pun about the angle the midget launches - hypotanuse (Ricky then laughs because it sounds a bit like hippopotanews). That pun isn't the main bit of the story or the title he uses to describe the story before he relates it. I'm sorry if this has been discussed but I don't get how it's called Hippopotenuse here at all.--Jacktheripper 18:14, 22 March 2008 (GMT)

If it was news, it'd be a pun replacing "Mus" with "News". If it was nuse, you are replacing "Hypo" with "Hippo" which seems a lot closer pun to me. Karl would not have mentioned the angle, or hypotenuse at all if it wasn't part of the pun.--Knockinabout 22:06, 22 March 2008 (GMT)
